Sadullah Özel
Dr. Lecturer
He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2000. He completed his master’s degree at Dicle University with his thesis titled “Right to a Fair Trial in Light of the Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights”. In 2013, he received his Doctorate in Public Law from Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences with his thesis titled “Expropriation in Terms of Constitutional Property Rights”. While continuing his academic studies between 2001-2014, he continued his duty as a freelance lawyer affiliated with the Batman Bar Association.
Since 2014, he has been working as a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at Batman University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He continues his academic studies in the International Law department of this department. His latest book, “Artificial Intelligence Security in Terms of International Law”, has been published.
He has books, articles and communiqués in the fields of International Law, Public Law, Human Rights and Constitutional Law. He currently provides expert witness training, entrepreneurship training and real estate consultancy training at various institutions.
He has been registered with the Ministry of Justice as an Expert Mediator since 2017 and continues to serve in this position.
He was on the founding board of the Batman Strategic Research Center (BATMANSAM). He currently serves as the president of this center. He is also the president of the Batman Branch of the Legal Research Association (HUDER).
He is married and has four daughters.
